About the Author – Robert Beech

Robert Beech is a psychiatrist and a faculty member at the Yale School of Medicine as well as a sometime author of odd bits of fiction. His work has been published stories in 365Tomorrows, Everyday Fiction, Potato Soup Journal, StarShipSofa and a variety of boring professional journals.
He has lived in several places across the globe including Calcutta, New York, Paris, and Oak Park, Illinois. He currently lives in New Haven, Connecticut with his wife, their oversized pandemic puppy, and a small horde of cats. When not working or writing he enjoys running long distances (slowly), playing the French horn, and reading books in French and Spanish. If not for the unfortunate necessity of gaining a living he would probably have more hobbies. His dream is to open a foreign language bookstore-café and sell as many books as Aziraphale.
