Kaleidoscope A Queer Anthology (2023)

Dori Lumpkin is a queer writer from South Alabama, currently pursuing an MA in English with a focus in Fiction Writing from the University of South Alabama. They’ve been a lover of storytelling in all its forms from a very young age, having come from a very extensive theatre background as well as being an avid D&D lover. They believe that storytelling is fundamental to the human experience, and without books, movies, and art, we wouldn’t know how to be people. You can find their work in Susurrus, Soft Star, or Diet Milk Magazine, as well as other places forthcoming. When not writing, Dori can be found reading, blankly staring at their laptop, or yelling at people about the connections between speculative fiction and marginalized communities. They would like to take this time to thank their cat, Lilo, for always sleeping on the laptop when Dori needs to work most. If interested in Dori’s whereabouts, they can be found on most social media websites with the handle @whimsyqueen, or you can check out their website, where links to their work are posted: https://dorilumpkin.carrd.co
