Kat Merrigan was born and raised in NY. A published author, blogger, podcaster and actress, Kat’s making her feature debut in an independent film coming soon. She published her first book in 2021. It is available through Amazon, Barnes and Noble and directly via her site www.katmerrigan.com where she also hosts a weekly blog with articles on many different topics injected with a mix of humor, heart and hope.

If all the world’s a stage, Kat spends a great deal of time there. As a member of a church choir, she was able to boast that she performed from Radio City Music Hall to Ryker’s Island, as well as Long Island’s famous Jones Beach. She completed “Kat and Andee Far From Normal”, a hope-filled, humorous podcast she started with a close friend as a reaction to all the changes of 2020.

Her written work has been featured in Calla Press and the Academy Of the Heart and Mind.
