Jess Ko is a speculative fiction author primarily writing weird fiction, horror, and dark science fiction/fantasy. She grew up on an island off the coast of New England and her work is deeply influenced by the fishing villages, jagged coasts, and pine forests of her childhood.
She is a recent graduate of the Stonecoast MFA program through the University of Southern Maine. Her stories have been published in Metaphorosis, Ghost Parachute, and others.
When not writing, Jess works professionally as a software engineer.
